April Bowlby was born in Vallejo, California, and was later enrolled at Moorpark College where she pursued degrees with a focus on French, Marine Biology, and Ballet. Modeling began she was in her teens and then shifted her focus towards acting. Her first professional performance as an actor was a 2005 guest-starring appearance on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation".
