Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh was born 17 October 1992 in India is a movie actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu cinema along with a handful of Malayalam. She won the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her performance in the film as actress Savitri. Other awards she has won include three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South as well as three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. She began her career as a child actor in the early 2000s and went back to film after studying fashion design. Her debut lead role in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. It didn't do well in the theater. Her first film release is A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which was a co-production with Vikram Prabhu. However, the film was not a success in the theater. To accommodate larger projects due to her hectic schedule, she had opted from a few films that she began to work on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. Then, she worked on Rajini Murugan's Remo in two quick film. Additionally, Dhanush and she played as the main characters for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film was later delayed and reports suggest that Janakitho Nenu will debut in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and was starring in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy first appeared in Bairavaa alongside Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
